Shedding Darkness on Decay
I saw the sunset sink into the sea
And shadowed visions sought to fill my eyes
'Til stars attacked with luminosity
The darkness seen enveloping the skies.
With jovial intent those lighted orbs
Embraced the heavens with their silver hue
And proved that sacred splendor can absorb
The somber blackness that the night imbues.
But soon that loss of light will never end
Our world in deepened midnights will be bathed,
As human hatred rises and ascends
Our purity will not escape unscathed.
Corruption in our hearts was made to grow,
Made not to foster love, but overthrow.
Time Eternal
A black hand upon an ivory face
Slowly pulls our perception
Through the molten light
Of melted mornings and
Into the dark pool of night.
Time twists and turns
The light wrapped around our eyes,
A flash of lashes sending ripples
Through reality and setting before us
Another second.
Like the click of a shutter,
New memories flash into
Our minds with every tick,
Molding each fleeting moment
Into a lifetime.
That's right, after years of not using this account, here I am. I finally realized this place isn't just for drawing/visual art so figured I'd throw some of my writing in. I really can't think of much more to write...
I probably will later *shrug*
Enjoy ^^
